Vodafone acquires two telecoms expense management companies
Vodafone Global Enterprise, part of Vodafone Group Plc (LSE: VOD), announced today that it has acquired two telecom expense management (TEM) companies, Quickcomm and TnT Expense Management.
While Vodafone did not indicate the cost of the acquisitions, it said that the value of the gross assets acquired amount to USD6.9m for Quickcomm and USD2.8m for TnT Expense Management.
Australian company Quickcomm has offices in the US, UK and Singapore as well as its headquarters in Sydney. It will become an integrated part of the Vodafone Telecoms Management solution and will continue to sell and provide ongoing support for its products.
TnT Expense Management is headquartered in Connecticut, and has offices in New York, the UK, Germany and France. It provides managed telecoms expense services as well as automated bill processing.
Vodafone said that both acquisitions will benefit its customers by providing them with visibility and control of their fixed and mobile telecoms costs.
